"Lost" loses steam in the ratings

The fifth season-premiere of Lost didn’t gain viewers as the event notched its lowest-rated season-premiere to date. Lost averaged a 5.0 rating and 12 share among adults 18-49 and drew 10 million viewers for ABC in the 8-10 p.m. (Central) time slot Wednesday night for ABC. While the results were still pretty good, it’s still down from the fourth-season premiere […]

Restore the roar

Yes, it’s still hard to believe, but it’s amazing how the Chicago Blackhawks have changed their fortunes – on and off the ice. At a time when a few NHL teams are struggling financially and the Arena Football League is ceasing operations for the 2009 season, the Blackhawks are thriving at the gate. After years of being in the bottom […]

"Rosie Live!" dead on arrival

Dancing cupcakes? People spinning on their heads? Alanis Morrisette signing adult contemporary? It’s little wonder no one watched Rosie Live on Wednesday night, which tied ABC’s now-canceled Pushing Daisies as the lowest-rated original show of the evening. T Dog’s Four on the Floors – Edition 10

This week’s winners and losers: T Dog’s Fab Four – Obama’s campaign infomercial. Yeah, I’m making a lot of friends…

Click here and scroll down. And I actually found myself defending Philadelphia. Ewwww…. (only kidding.) And maybe yours truly needs to tone down the know-it-all rhetoric a bit. It really gets you nowhere in life (if I want to make myself look like an ass, I’ll do it here and not on other boards…)

Items of note

Usually this post would be called “T Dog’s Groovy Grab Bag”, a roundup of media notes, but an item here is a tragedy and it involves a helicopter and a radio tower: -Four people were killed Wednesday Night when a medical helicopter slammed into the radio tower in Aurora of west suburban WBIG-AM. Three adults and an one-year old were […]
