Comcast buys out Cablevision

Comcast Corp. has bought out Cablevision’s share in the FSN Bay Area and FSN New England sports nets for $570 million. No more analog for Comcast in Chicago

Comcast is getting out of the analog business early and is upgrading its service to digital, with a rollout beginning this month and lasting until July. This is only inside the city limits of Chicago, and will rollout in the ‘burbs later this year and lasting through 2008.
